RevTone processes driving signals on your iPhone. It does not send your location or driving history to a RevTone server.

Location and motion

During a live drive, RevTone uses iPhone location and motion data to estimate speed and movement and shape the sound. It may continue using location while a drive is active in the background. The app does not save coordinates, route traces, or raw motion history. You can stop a drive in the app or change location permission in iPhone Settings. The 2 km simulation does not use GPS.

Data kept on your iPhone

RevTone stores your selected sound, sound intensity, speed units, and other app preferences on your iPhone. It stores a local trial record and a short-lived cache of verified purchase access in the iPhone Keychain so access can work across launches and brief periods without a connection. RevTone does not operate an account or a first-party analytics service.

Purchases

If you buy the one-time lifetime unlock, Apple processes the transaction through the App Store. RevTone uses StoreKit purchase status to provide access. Apple’s handling of payment and purchase information is governed by Apple’s privacy terms.

Diagnostics and sharing

You can choose to create and share a diagnostic report. It contains app and iOS version, audio route, permission state, signal quality, and engine counters. It does not include coordinates or route history. RevTone does not send this report anywhere automatically; you choose whether and where to share it.

Retention and choices

Live location and motion samples are processed during a drive and are not retained as a history. App preferences and local access records remain on the device until removed by iOS or the user. A Keychain record may remain after an app reinstall. You can revoke location access in iPhone Settings, stop using the app, or contact us with privacy questions. Because RevTone has no account or backend, we cannot remotely read or delete data stored only on your iPhone.

Changes and contact

If RevTone’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy answers will be updated. For questions, email support@avvaio.com.
